US Bombs Iran

For years, Donald Trump warned that Joe Biden would lead the U.S. into World War III. According to his post on Truth Social, The United States has launched military strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities, marking a major and dangerous escalation in the already volatile conflict between Israel and Iran.

This is the first time the U.S. has directly targeted Iranian nuclear infrastructure. The strikes follow weeks of rising tension in the region. The consequences of American involvement could ripple far beyond the Middle East.

"We have completed our very successful attack on the three Nuclear sites in Iran, including Fordow, Natanz, and Esfahan," Trump said in a social media post. "All planes are now outside of Iran air space. A full payload of BOMBS was dropped on the primary site, Fordow. All planes are safely on their way home."

And predictably, the Republican Party is eating itself alive over it. Trump's declaration has divided the GOP, with even some of his closest allies split over whether U.S. involvement is a bold show of strength or a reckless foreign policy disaster. While hardliners like orange-lipped Lindsey Graham cheering the aggression, others are warning of spiraling consequences and an undeclared war.

The U.S. is now deeper in a conflict with massive stakes. Imagine if Trump hadn’t pulled US out of the Obama Iran Nuclear Deal.

Under the U.S. Constitution, only Congress has the power to declare war. But presidents have increasingly sidestepped this by using their role as Commander in Chief to justify unilateral military action, now by Trump for airstrikes.
