Trump Mimics Hitler

Donald Trump is once again reversing roles and challenging established norms to suit his needs. He is incapable of following the law, he does not pivot with policy, and he is devoid of integrity. He holds a sharpie and uses it like he’s brandishing a weapon to execute executive orders. And now he is accusing Democrats of being "insurrectionists" for peacefully protesting against ICE, a government agency known for its cruel and abusive treatment of immigrants that I have dubbed “the modern day Gestapo”, an agency infamous for ripping families apart.

Trump is the very thing he warned us about. His executive orders are not protecting liberty. They are strangling it. They are slow, calculated steps toward authoritarian control. He told us exactly what he’d do. Trump is Project 2025. It was the blueprint. And it’s already underway. And it’s full blown fascism.

This Is Not a Riot. Neither is Trump.

It is very much worth noting, and repeating ad nauseam - because repetition does work and is a successful tool used masterfully by Trump - that peaceful protests are protected by the First Amendment and are not acts of sedition. It is also worth noting that these are not violent riots. In fact, to date, there have been exactly zero persons charged under the California penal code 404. Ya know, a riot. You know why there have been no arrests for rioting? Because there are no fucking riots! It’s all demonstrative nonsensical performative rhetoric to foment more of Trump’s propaganda that the damn libs are violent criminals and hate America and the protests are not peaceful.

Trump is the agitator, the demagogue, the anti-American red tie wearing gaslighting wannabe King.

And oh, what a shocker that the dude who lives and breathes chaos is actively manufacturing a crisis in Los Angeles. He has deployed the National Guard and Marines under the false pretense of “law and order”, but the real motive appears to be even more disturbing. He is setting the stage to shut down elections, invoke martial law, and then blame Democrats for the chaos that he created. This is a tactic straight from the authoritarian playbook he has long admired.

Trump said Hitler “did some good things” and wanted generals like the Nazis. There were several attempts by high-ranking German military officials, including generals, to assassinate Adolf Hitler.

Trump has openly expressed admiration for autocrats. He is Krasnov, the codename Moscow assigned to him in the 1980s, he praises Putin and uses Kremlin talking points, has said Hitler “did some good things”, and speaks fondly of Kim Jong Un — with Trump being the only American president in the history of ever to cross the demarcation line — while his orange tainted makeup kept a strict one. If you didn’t know, according to one of his three wives, the now deceased having fallen down a spiral staircase first wife, Ivana, who is now buried on his golf course for tax benefits, he kept a book of Hitler’s favorite speeches by his bedside. Let’s not forget his new dictator BFF, President Bukele of El Salvador who took $6 million from Trump to imprison deported migrants including some U.S. citizens in his mega prison with no due process.

Trump has long used propaganda, disinformation, and fear to manipulate the public and destabilize institutions. And now, just like Hitler did in the 1930s, Trump is turning his failures into weapons by labeling his opponents as enemies of the state — and playing the media like it’s his hand fed pet.

The same guy who campaigned on freedom tried to overthrow an election in an attempted coup with a violent mob who spread feces on the walls of our Capitol, paraded a confederate flag in its rotunda, and attacked police is the same guy now trying to recast himself as a defender of democracy. MAGA is eating up. This is the hate they voted for.

Before the 2024 election, Trump declared, “I could get elected twice over the wall.” For once, he wasn’t lying and that single statement was the directive to Republicans to kill the bipartisan border deal under Biden.

Trump needed the false claim that Democrats support open borders so he could build a campaign around that lie. What followed was a firehose of dehumanization: “poisoning the blood of our country,” “illegal monsters,” “gang members,” “killers,” “invaders.” No policy, just propaganda. No solutions, just scapegoats. It was all deliberate, all vile, and all to seize power through fear. And holy hell, it worked.

So while he accuses Democrats of being the insurrectionists, he continues part of that Big Lie that led him back into the Oval. This is not leadership. This is projection on a level we’ve never seen before, but knew was coming.

Trump is Project 2025, with a history of enabling white nationalism and a deeply rooted hunger for power and money. He is a grifter, a conman, a felon, and an adjudicated rapist. He is antisemitic, a racist and a bigot. He is transactional and retaliatory and demands loyalty in the form of kissing his fake ring. Take a one quick look back to his first term. Dude was jonesing for riots and he got them. White supremacists like “umbrella man” were agitators planted during the George Floyd BLM protests, who broke windows to stoke chaos. Trump tweeted “When the looting starts, the shooting starts” —and while the country burned with grief and rage, Trump took to hiding in a bunker in the same way a strange little man with the mustache did when his own house of lies began to collapse.
